Fire Dance at Nublu Classic
Lastly, “Fire Dance” began with a haunting echo as AJ himself made shushing noises into the mic that sounded like a rain stick. At this point the tune was far more mellow and slower than his previous offerings, with the music seeming to take you on a walk on the beach or through a quiet wood. Three minutes in, however, the guitar picked up more of a frantic pace; the instrument was demanding to be heard!
The song went through several phases of fast and slow; light and dark. The drum machine kept time in the background. Vocals augmented the instrumental sound and the two blended together well. Then the frantic pace began again.
The tune finally returned to the mellow, haunting style it had in the beginning. It ended on this soft note and the audience showed their appreciation.
